GRACIE S. SIVERTSON

ABOUT ME:

I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelors in English with a minor in Professional Writing. I’m a childhood cancer survivor and former Make-A-Wish Ambassador. When I became involved with the Make-A-Wish foundation, my experience with their non-profit spurred my deeply rooted passion for helping others and sharing people’s stories with the world.

In 2015 I launched an Instagram under the username (@gladiatorglory) in Instagram’s #bookstagram community, and quite frankly, it was the best decision I have ever made. The book community taught me the value of books, reading, and friendship through my passion for photography and literature. Through this platform, I have had the privilege of networking with countless friends across the globe who share the same mutual love of literature. My tastes in literature all from the genres of adult fantasy to contemporary to crime-fiction to romance. As well as being an avid book guru on Instagram, I became a content creator on YouTube. I transitioned from YouTube and Instagram in 2020 to focus on my newly co-founded Podcast, Readers Turned Writers. I market newly published authors' works through a weekly podcast about writing and modern literature. This reveals my communication and collaboration skills as well as my ability to manage creative and professional marketing needs of large companies.

Beyond my creative content online, I developed extensive writing and editing skills through my position as a writer and editorial team member of The Broadside, Kennesaw State University’s English Department newsletter team. I composed detailed articles pertaining to the activities of our students, faculty, and alumni in this position. I worked with a wonderful team to create and edit multiple articles that have been published and shared with a large audience of readers. It is at The Broadside where I honed my research and interview skills through exploring new and diverse topics, including the publishing industry and independent research projects developed by professors. Currently, I am a copywriter for Kennesaw State University.

Outside of my professional writing career, I started a beautiful journey with spirituality which has proven to be one of the most fulfilling aspects of my life. I've been been a professional psychic medium & intuitive tarot reader for almost three years now. My sessions not only offer advice through tarot or oracle cards…but are also vessels for shamanic energy healings within the human design. I blended two mediums together for a unique healing modality that offers energetic healing with guided tarot advice from spirit. In addition, I’m currently in the process of becoming a certified Reiki Master under the Usui lineage. My spiritual practice revolves around healing from past lives, chakra attunements, and overall well-being and development of the soul with the power of unconditional love.
